ALEX SAPUNDZHIEV - Fundraising Advisor

With over 26 years in Real Estate investment, Alex Sapundzhiev is an FCA-approved professional and CISI member. Holding an MBA and Level 3 Certificate in Investments, he excels in joint venture equity and mezzanine finance across the UK and Europe. Alex’s track record includes successful co-investments in diverse assets worth millions. His strategic roles in organizations like Hilton Worldwide and Lehman Brothers showcase leadership in navigating international complexities. Alex’s financial acumen positions him as a valuable asset for organizations focused on International Children’s Peace Network, and fundraising for global projects and impactful initiatives.

EVE CONWAY - Rotary International Director

Eve Conway, a distinguished Rotary International Director, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as an advisor for the International Children’s Peace Network (ICPN). A former Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, Eve earned a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University, leading to a successful career with BBC News. As District Governor of Rotary in London, she spearheaded impactful humanitarian projects, including a Global Grant to reduce maternal and infant mortality in India. Eve’s commitment to youth activities and peace-building aligns perfectly with ICPN’s mission, making her a valuable asset to the organization.

HIMANSHU JAIN - District Governor of London Rotary District 1130

Himanshu Jain, Rotary District Governor of London District 1130, is joining the International Children’s Peace Network (ICPN) as an advisor to support youth programs and foster collaborative initiatives. A local leader, Himanshu co-founded the Bharat Cricket Community, a charity promoting healthy living and community integration. He has received several accolades, including the Mayor of Redbridge’s award for his environmental efforts and the British Prime Minister’s Points of Light award. Additionally, Himanshu serves as Deputy Lieutenant in Greater London, a fellow of the Royal Docks School of Business & Law, and chairs multiple charities supporting the homeless and underserved communities.

SMRUTI PATEL - District Councillor for Epping Forest and Cabinet Member for Community and Well-Being

Smruti Patel, a District Councillor for Epping Forest and Cabinet Member for Community and Well-Being, joins the International Children’s Peace Network (ICPN) as an advisory member. With a diverse background in entrepreneurship, community leadership, and biomedical science, Smruti is committed to empowering youth and engaging local communities. Her work includes supporting gender equality, financial independence for women, and youth development initiatives. A dedicated philanthropist and active community member, Smruti’s involvement with ICPN will help bridge local communities with global youth programs, fostering greater participation and impact at the grassroots level.

H.E. Dr SAF BUXY - Psychotherapist | Human Rights Advocate | United Nations Peace Ambassador

With over 25 years of experience in mental health, His Excellency Dr. Saf Buxy is a distinguished psychotherapist, addiction specialist, and global humanitarian. He is the founder of “Help Us Help” CIC, a foundation dedicated to supporting youth and communities impacted by addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.

Dr. Buxy’s approach is rooted in evidence-based psychological interventions and a deep commitment to holistic well-being. As a published author and prominent media contributor, Dr. Buxy frequently appears on television, radio, and digital platforms to advocate for mental health awareness and human rights.

In recognition of his tireless service to humanity, Dr. Buxy was appointed as a United Nations Peace Ambassador, continuing his global mission to promote peace, healing, and resilience.

Dr. Buxy brings profound value to the work of the International Children’s Peace Network (ICPN). His experience in trauma-informed care and youth empowerment aligns perfectly with ICPN’s mission to support children affected by conflict, emotional hardship, and displacement.

Through his mentorship and guidance, ICPN’s programs gain an added layer of emotional intelligence and psychological support—helping to build resilient, compassionate youth leaders for a peaceful future.

KEITH BEST TD, MA – Advocate for Peace, Leadership, and Public Service

Keith Best is a highly respected public servant, humanitarian, and thought leader whose career spans politics, law, and the charitable sector. Currently Chair of the Universal Peace Federation (UK), he plays a key role in empowering youth through initiatives like the Young Achievers Program, while also chairing multiple national trusts, including the St Nazaire Raid Memorial Trust and Wyndham Place Charlemagne Trust.

As a former Member of Parliament and practising barrister, Keith has significantly influenced UK and international policy, particularly on human rights and refugee issues. He has served as CEO of major charities such as SurvivorsUK, Freedom from Torture, and the Immigration Advisory Service, earning widespread recognition, including being named one of the top 100 most influential people in UK public services by the Society Guardian.

Fluent in French and Welsh, Keith is also a published author and global keynote speaker, having delivered the prestigious Lyndon Johnson Memorial Lecture in Texas. A Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Loriners, he continues to contribute through various advisory and trustee roles, including with the Commonwealth Countries League. His passion for peace, leadership, and civic duty is matched by his active lifestyle and unwavering commitment to making a difference.

COUNCILOR AMBASSADOR FUNMI ADEMILUA - Founder & CEO of The Good Samaritan Foundation (UK & Nigeria)

Councillor Ambassador Funmi Ademilua is a dynamic and compassionate leader committed to driving social impact and community empowerment. As a professional counsellor, international ambassador, entrepreneur, and founder of The Good Samaritan Foundation Charity (UK & Nigeria), she plays a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable communities and championing social justice.

Her extensive humanitarian work includes providing psychosocial support, leading community safety initiatives, and advocating for youth empowerment. Through collaborations with organisations such as the United Nations Global Compact, Universal Peace Federation, and the Lewisham Safer Neighbourhood Board, Councillor Funmi promotes emotional well-being, resilience, and safer, more inclusive communities.

She is currently authoring a book addressing mental health challenges, aiming to raise awareness and equip readers with practical tools to support those affected.

Beyond her professional and civic roles, Councillor Funmi is a devoted family woman—proud mother of three and grandmother to a cherished granddaughter—whose personal experiences continue to inspire her mission to serve with empathy, strength, and vision.
