The International Children’s Peace Assembly (ICPA) 2025 is a vibrant platform dedicated to fostering understanding, cooperation,and global unity among youth. Taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria, Coming Soon in August 2025, this week-long event is a celebration of peace, education, creativity, and friendship for children aged 12-17years. Participants will engage in educational workshops, cultural activities, and team building exercises at historical sites like Varna’s Historic Park and Ravadinovo Castle.They’ll share their visions for a better world at the local Parliament, contributing to signing of a Global Peace Declaration to be submitted to the United Nations. Join us in shaping a brighter more harmonious future, whilst empowering the youth leaders of tomorrow.

Experience a transformative journey into peace and unity at the International Children’s Peace Assembly. Bulgaria, with its rich history of fostering international peace and cultural exchange, is the perfect host for this prestigious event. Here’s why:

  • Historical Significance: Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, hosted four International Children’s Assemblies “Banner of Peace” under UNESCO, welcoming over 4,000 children globally. In 1987, the UN declared it as THE MESSENGER OF PEACE.
  • Peace Bells Monument: Sofia’s Peace Bells monument and park feature over 90 bells donated by countries worldwide, symbolizing global harmony and unity.
  • International Children’s Parliament (ICP): Children will engage in UN-style debates, adopt a Declaration for Peace, and elect a Chairman who will submit the declaration to the UN. Observers include the Mayor of Sofia, UNESCO and UN Representatives, and Rotary International Executives.
  • Peace Harmony Programme: Activities include excursions to significant historical and tourist sites, fun activities, cultural musical performances, and much more!

 Join Us for a Transformative Week at the International Children’s Peace Assembly (ICPA) 2024!

Day 1 – Arrival in Varna: Saturday, 10 August

• Travel: Arrive at Varna airport or arrive at Sofia airportand travel to Varna by air, coach or train

• Transfer from Varna Airport to Hotel: Participants arriving at Varna airport will be welcomed and transferred to their accommodation at Historical Park.

• Check-in, Registrations, Briefing: Settle into your rooms, complete the registration process, and attend a briefing to get an overview of the exciting week ahead.

Day 2: Historical Park: Sunday, 11 August

• Historic Park Tour in Neofit Rilski, Varna: Explore Bulgaria’s rich history at the Historic Park, where children will engage in immersive learning experiences.

• Team-building Activities: Participate in horse riding, archery, and other fun activities designed to build teamwork and character development.

• Special Welcome Concert at Historical Park: Enjoy a lively concert featuring performances from local artists, setting the tone for a week of cultural exchange and celebration.

Day 3: Wind Castle: Monday, 12 August

• Wind Castle Visit: Discover the fairy-tale charm of Ravadinovo Castle with guided tours and photo opportunities, and perhaps even a treasure hunt!

• Outdoor Storytelling: Engage in local storytelling sessions that spark creativity and imagination, and share kindness stories

AquaPark Fun: Cool off and have fun at the nearby AquaPark, featuring water slides and pools.

Day 4: Culture & Environment: Tuesday, 13 August

• Choro Dance Rehearsal: Team building, fun rehearsal and performance of traditional Bulgarian Choro and National folk dances. 

• Tree Planting: Contribute to environmental conservation by planting trees in the beautiful 

• Fun team building activities: Have fun, build friendships and enjoy cultural exchange. 

Day 5: Varna, The Sea Capital: Wednesday, 14 August

• Tour in the Varna Sea Capital – Participate in Dolphin shows and swim with the intelligent, friendly and entertaining Dolphins

• Beach Activities – Enjoy the soft golden sand under your feet, swim in the clear waters, play beach volleyball and enjoy water sports

• Visit to the Archaeological Museum – visit to celebrate and admire Bulgarian cultural heritage, including witnessing the world’s oldest processed gold.

• Travel – Experience an interesting journey to the Capital City of Bulgaria, Sofia by train

Day 6: Sofia, Capital of Bulgaria: Thursday, 15 August

• Sofia Parliament Debate: Engage in a parliamentary debate and speeches at the local parliament in Sofia, advocating for peace and positive change. This will culminate in adopting a Peace Declaration to be sent to United Nations

• Local Sightseeing: Visit iconic landmarks like the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the National Palace of Culture.

• Peace Bells Park: Gather at Peace Bell Park to ring the bells of peace 

• Concert and Entertainment: Enjoy a lively Peace concert featuring local talent and entertainment.

• Travel to Borovets Resort: Enjoy comfortable stay at the Rila mountain, enjoying nature and the beautiful scenery it offers.

 Day 7: National Palace of Children: Friday, 16 August

• Multi-Art Exhibition at National Palace of Children: Display and admire artistic creations in various mediumssubmitted by Children participating in the Assembly, celebrating youth creativity.

• Talent Show Preparation: Prepare for the International Superstar Talent Competition, with rehearsals and final touches.

• International Superstar Talent Competition: Showcase your talents on stage, competing for global recognition and prizes.

 Day 8: Gala Awards Evening: Saturday, 17 August

• Travel to Plovdiv: Travel to Plovdiv and participate in a local tour, followed by a rehearsal for the Gala Awards Evening.

• Gala Awards Evening: Attend the grand finale at the Ancient Roman Theatre in Plovdiv, where special awards will be presented, competition winners announced, and high-quality entertainment will grace the stage.

• After event VIP Dinner. Special guests and dignitaries will attend private fine dining and entertainment event at nearby venue

 Day 9: Sunday, 18 August

• Departure from Plovdiv to Varna Airport: Bid farewell to new friends and depart from Plovdiv to Varna Airport for your journey home
